Sally Wu, our co-founder and CEO, is a blend of creativity, professionalism, and relentless pursuit of excellence. Born in Taiwan and later moving to Indonesia, Sally's journey in education and entrepreneurship began at an early age, shaped by her role as the backbone of her family. Her dedication and hard work were instrumental in supporting her loved ones, leading her to start working young and founding a pet clothing brand, ButikDoggy, at the tender age of 11 with her mother.
Sally earned her architecture degree from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) through scholarship, reflecting her determination and academic excellence. Her thirst for knowledge didn't stop there; she continued to a Master of Management and is now enrolled in an Entrepreneurial Marketing MBA at SBM ITB.
At WSA Construction + Planning, Sally leads the design and business aspects with innovation, empathy, and a robust sense of fairness. Clients recognize her for a listening ear that genuinely understands their needs, and a voice that's not afraid to speak up, yet always maintains an air of professionalism and humility.
A unique aspect of Sally's personality is her love for animals. A vegetarian and a mother to a delightful array of pets including dogs, cats, chickens, birds, sugar gliders, a desert rain frog, and tortoises, her compassion extends beyond business. It is her belief in treating others, both human and animal, with kindness and respect that shines through her leadership.
As an avid rollerblade rider and a painter, Sally infuses her artistic sensibilities into her work, ensuring that each project is not just a building but a piece of art. Her continuous education, ability to stay objective and fair, and her courage to take bold decisions when needed, make her an inspiring leader.
